Movie poster design for There will be blood, a 2007 American drama film written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, based on the 1927 novel Oil. The poster captures the film’s dark and intense nature while conveying its time period and setting. In the film, bloodshed and violence are often masked or displaced by oil until the climax, when the full extent of the tragedy is revealed. To capture this pivotal moment, I incorporated an evocative image into the poster, intertwining the movie's typography within it.
