Arabic book interpretation of Al Ayyam by Taha Hussein, an autobiography of his life as a blind individual. I interpreted each section of the book with a unique treatment of type and an acetate overlay to create a layered effect. This approach is a visual representation of Hussein's perspective on life as a blind individual. The extruded letters from the acetate sheet also add to the tactile and sensory experience of the book whereby the treatment of type varies depending on the content of each section.
